Robert Vaughn Visits London - SCREEN 1966 (Japanese magazine)

Robert Vaughn: UNCLE's No.1 agent arrived at London airport: three-page pictorial

Following on from David McCallum, here's the main hero of the "Napoleon Solo" TV series, Robert Vaughn, arriving in London. He planned a comfortable trip to Europe on his own but his arrival at the airport was greeted with an attacking reception by fans keen to meet their idol. The wild enthusiasm of his fans became so terrifying that he had to be evacuated from the terminal.

Later Vaughn nervously went sightseeing around London, but this was much easier and less distressing for him. The only gathering in Trafalgar Square were flocks of pigeons. Vaughn's expression was most relieved.
